Auto-Tunes on iTunes

3 02 2009

Ok, PLEASE STOP!  Enough of it.  I am seriously sick of it.  As a DJ, a fan of music. I beg you to please be more creative.  These artists are lazy right now.  I’m sorry to say this but it’s not hot no more.  Memo to Diddy…I know it’s coming on your next album…it’s not too late to stop the wackness.  Especially after seeing “Notorious”, I realize how much garbage is out there.  Biggie’s flow was crisp and his lyrics was clever.  His delivery was on point.  Lil Wayne is wack to me.  What the fuck he be talking about?  And he sound like a grandpa going into constipation.  Why do people dig him so much?  Tupac might have been sincere but I was never really a fan of his music.  I just liked that he had a dope body, and his role in “Juice” was phenomenon.  Besides that,  I could have cared less.  And don’t get me started with the south.  I love Ludacris and Outkast but the rest of ya’ll: mostly garbage.  And it kills me cuz the general population think they love it.  I don’t get excited about music as much as I use to.  Nas is boring me.  Jay-Z might still have it but in my mind he has retired.  I think Red Cafe should be a star and Saigon should get more light as well.  But seriously, PLEASE STOP the Auto-Tunes sound.  It’s killing my ears.

New Addiction: Gossip Girl

Like my mom said, this show is like a guilty pleasure. You love to hate these kids and their lifestyle. So spoiled yet so fabulous. I didn’t get to watch the show faithfully when it premiered but I bought the season 1 and 2 on iTunes out of curiosity. I can now see why people love that show. If you loved “Cruel Intentions”, you will love this show. It’s crazy how everybody is connected somehow and the orgy fest but it reflects perfectly real life situations. I feel like I’ve lived in that orgy circle where everybody messed around with each other’s friend at one time in their lifetime. It’s kinda sick when you think about it but then again, we all have similar likeness so it does make sense. And I can’t front, I do have some of Blair Waldorf’s evil characteristics of destroying people that we spite and can relate to Serena’s having a dark past following you. I can’t wait to see the upcoming shows, my iPhone awaits more drama and more dry comedy!

Runner Up:
housewives new york city
The Real Housewives of New York. I tried watching the one from O.C. and do laugh once in awhile with the one’s in Atlanta but New York women are the best! I love career women. I love people that are into charity and giving back. I can relate to them. I feel like the other cities are just a bunch of whiny bitches. Excuse me language but they don’t nothing to me but annoy me.
